Enjoyed The Thrills of Wilderness During Wildlife Tours to India

India - the land of the majestic Tiger and the graceful Elephant, boasts of an enchanting floral and faunal diversity, that accounts for the country’s emergence as one of the most sought after wildlife destinations in the world. Last year, I had availed of Wildlife Tour Packages in India to explore some of the most important wild life destinations in the country, which provide refuge to numerous species of wild animals and birds.

Home to over 390 species of mammals, 455 reptiles, 210 amphibians, 1,230 birds, and about 30,000 species of insects – the Wildlife Sanctuaries in India offer innumerable wildlife treasures that are bound to leave any spectator bedazzled! With numerous Wildlife Sanctuaries and National Parks scattered all over India, I was really confused about the important wildlife destinations to cover on my Indian Wildlife Tour. That is when I came across a Tour Operator called Wildlife India Tours on the Internet. They gave me a list of customized Wildlife Tour Packages to choose from, and their assistance really came handy in planning my Wildlife Tour of India.

These Wildlife Tours allowed numerous opportunities for me to watch numerous endemic as well as endangered species of wildlife in their natural habitat. Thus, on Wildlife Tour Packages in India, while I visited the Gir National Park in Gujarat which is famous for its Asiatic lions, I also went to Assam’s Kaziranga Wildlife Sanctuary, famous for its Indian rhinoceros species. Again, Periyar in Kerala is best known for the herds of elephants roaming about in wilderness, while Kanha and Bandhavgarh in Madhya Pradesh are essentially associated with majestic tigers.
